How Photo and Art Printing Works
Every project starts with an image print enquiry and a review of file resolution and colour profile. This helps identify whether the artwork is ready for production or whether a test print is the better next step.
Paper and size choices are discussed in plain terms, with attention to how the image is likely to translate on the selected material. For exhibition sets and portfolio work, a test print is recommended before the final quantity is approved.
Clear file checks, careful paper guidance, and proof-led production.
Print Palette supports photographers, illustrators, and local artists with practical print advice from first enquiry to protected collection.
Small exhibition print projects are quoted by size, media, quantity, and packaging. The usual production range is five to thirty prints, with a deposit required before work begins and a lead time that allows for review and scheduling.
Finished prints are prepared with protective flat packaging for collection in Suffolk Park. Production updates are available during the process so you can track progress from approval through to completion.
